A software studio · Mobile apps · Desktop software · Websites

Software that feels like weather — precise, atmospheric, alive.

We're a software studio helping startups and small businesses ship desktop software, mobile apps, and websites that stand apart. The kind of products that earn a place on someone's home screen — and stay there.

What we make.

Three disciplines, one standard. Every project gets the same careful thinking — whether it lives in a browser tab, a phone, or a dock.

01 / Desktop

Desktop Software

Native and cross-platform applications for Windows and Linux. Productivity tools, creative software, internal tools — built to feel native on every system they run on.

02 / Mobile

Mobile Apps

iOS and Android apps designed with care and engineered to last. Fluid animation, thoughtful architecture, and App Store submissions handled start to finish.

03 / Web

Website Design

Marketing sites, web apps, and digital products designed with editorial craft and built for speed. Every pixel intentional. Every interaction measured.

How we work.

A predictable process for unpredictable outcomes. Four phases, tight loops, weekly shipping. No theater, no surprise reveals.

01
Discovery
Understand the problem, the people, the constraints. Write it down before anyone writes code.
Week 1
02
Design
Sketches, flows, prototypes. Decide before we build. Iterate before we commit.
Weeks 2–3
03
Build
Ship weekly. Real software in your hands every Friday. No surprise reveals at the end.
Weeks 4–10
04
Launch & evolve
Release, measure, refine. The best software is never really done — and we stick around after launch.
Ongoing

In their words.

A few notes from founders and operators we've built with. We're selective about the work we take on — which means we're selective about the clients we say yes to.

StormGlass didn't just build our app — they figured out what it actually needed to be. The discovery phase alone paid for itself. Three months later we're live, and the thing works.

We'd been burned by two agencies before these folks. Finally — a studio that ships weekly, replies same-day, and treats design and engineering as one discipline. Rare combination.

Our new site converts 2x the old one and loads faster than most apps. What I appreciated most was how much thought went into the parts nobody sees — the parts that make everything else possible.

Frequently asked.

A few things we hear often from founders and small-business owners considering us. If yours isn't here, just ask — we're quick to reply.

How much does a project cost? +
Projects are scoped individually based on what you're building. Most mobile app and website engagements start around $15–30k; desktop software and larger products typically run higher. We'll give you a clear fixed quote after discovery — no surprise invoices, ever.
How long will it take to build? +
A typical engagement is 8–12 weeks from first call to launch. Smaller websites can ship in 3–4 weeks; complex desktop software can run longer. We ship something real every Friday, so you'll always see progress — not wait three months for a big reveal.
Do you work with early-stage startups? +
Yes — most of our clients are seed and Series A startups, or small businesses investing in their first serious product. We understand runway and urgency, and we're comfortable being your first design and engineering partner.
Can you work with our in-house team? +
Absolutely. We often work alongside internal engineers and designers — sometimes as the design lead, sometimes handling a specific product surface, sometimes building the whole thing. Just tell us what your team looks like and we'll shape the engagement.
What happens after launch? +
We don't disappear. Most engagements include a support period, and many clients keep us on a part-time retainer for ongoing work. We can also hand off clean, well-documented code to your team — whichever serves you better.
Who owns the code and designs? +
You do. Full IP transfer on delivery, clean contracts, no hidden lock-in. The source code, the Figma files, the brand assets — all yours.
